FAITH STATEMENT

Camp Victory Ministries stands for and emphasizes the foundational truths held in common by evangelical Christians.

• The Bible is verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in its original manuscripts.
• The Bible has authority over all of life, so to disbelieve or disobey any word of the Bible is to disbelieve or disobey God.
• There is one God, who has always existed in three persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
• Satan, called the Devil, is a real personality and has present control over all people who have not accepted Christ as their Savior.
• Every person on earth has rebelled against God and has a sinful nature. This means that all people are totally depraved and in need of new life from God.
• Jesus Christ is fully God, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died, rose from the dead in bodily form, is presently exalted at God’s right hand, and will return to the earth at the Father’s appointed time.
• Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, made atonement for our sin through his substitutionary death and shed blood.
• Salvation from sin is found exclusively in Jesus Christ. There is no other way to find forgiveness and acceptance by God, but through His Son, Jesus.
• All people will someday be raised from the dead. Those who are saved by Jesus Christ will go with him to live forever in Heaven. However, all those who are not saved by him will be sent to everlasting punishment in Hell.
• The Church, the Body of Christ, consists only of those who have their faith in Jesus Christ.
• Christ has commissioned all of his Church to go into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to every person.
